I sure hope you’ve been checking out all the P90X2 reviews because they’re motivating and awesome. Like just about everyone else out there, I’ve loved the new P90X2 workouts. They’re fun and they push me and I sure love the fantastic results. Tony Horton sure has outdone himself with P90X2. I thought P90X would never be bested by any workout but I guess it’s fitting that the creator of P90X out did himself. The workouts in P90X2 are so refined and really push everyone to their limits. I’ve been using Tony’s Power workouts for years and I’ve loved all of them. They always produce amazing results. I was so happy how I looked after the first 30 days of P90X2 (and P90X and the Power workouts) that I wasn’t even sure I needed to finish out the program. I stayed true and finished all the workouts and I’m so glad I did. Something that is new to the P90X2 workouts is that they really help your mind and your body. Some of the workouts are specifically designed to better connect your mind and body in coordination and movement. The X2 Yoga is such a treat in my opinion. After days of intense workouts the X2 Yoga really helps calm the body and mind as well as help purge the toxins and acids that have been building up. I honestly feel so much better after that workout than any of the other workouts in P90X2.

Another great workout is the Chest + Back + Balance DVD. I like pushing myself on the balance exercises and I always try to do better than Tony or the others on the DVD. The chest and back exercises are still as amazing as ever and I really see the results soon after the workout. The entire workout lineup is fantastic. P90X2 does a lot to focus on the core and making it your foundation. I like the philosophy behind the P90X2 workouts to first focus on building a strong foundation then blasting past plateaus with muscle confusion. The nutrition plan is amazing and everyone that does P90X2 should follow it. Something that the creators of P90X2 have done is they’ve made a more adaptive nutrition plan with vegan and grain-free plans with good supplement options. Eating right and giving your body the fuel it needs and the nutrients for recovery and growth are so vital in getting the most out of P90X2. There is also an excellent workout guide to help you get through the 3 main phases that P90X2 is designed to go through. The workouts, when done in the correct order, help you built, recover and improve while avoiding the “plateaus” common in exercise. There are 12 workouts and they’re all great. I have my favorite workouts but they’re all vital to getting the results you want. There are a couple places I’d recommend looking when buying your P90X2 workout program. I’d first check out beachbody.com since that’s the company that makes and promotes the P90X2 program. I’d also recommend checking out amazon.com since they are notorious for great deals and fast shipping. I’ve purchased from both places and have no complaints about either website. Something that’s great about amazon.com is that the reviews aren’t hand selected like they are on beach body’s website. They’re reviews, not testimonials and you may like getting a more complete picture instead of one amazing story after another like you’d find on beachbody.com. I would recommend, and I do recommend, you buy P90X2. It’s a superior workout program and the results are so good. I hope you’ve found my review helpful, if not feel free to continue reading the hundreds of P90X2 reviews out there on the internet.

P90X2 is finally out I’m sure you’re as curious as I was about the new P90X2 workouts. Let me assure you that they don’t disappoint at all.
When you get the P90X2 box, it comes with the 12 workout DVD’s, a fitness guide, a nutrition plan, a calendar to track your progress and the “How to Bring it Again” DVD. If you still have your workout equipment from P90X then you should be fine to do all the new P90X2 workouts.
If you don’t have the equipment anymore or if you’re starting Tony Horton’s workouts with P90X2, then I’ll list what you’ll need later on.
Well, let’s cut to the chase and get familiar with the new P90X workout DVD’s.
X2 Core: this DVD helps you build your core which is the foundation that the P90X2 program will build off of. Improving the core is essential to doing all of the workouts effectively. Your core is where all of your movement begins and so fine tuning these core muscles will help your entire body improve.
Plyocide: this workout is designed to improve your coordination by improving your mind/body connection. By doing explosive workouts that test your endurance and improve your speed, your mind/body coordination will be pushed to the max. (Recommended to not use more than once a week)

X2 Recovery + Mobility: recovery is where the body has time to grow and improve. This DVD will help you improve your recovery by using a foam roller which is a myofascial release technique. Tony says you’ll really learn what “Hurts so good” really means.
X2 Total Body: for these intense workouts you’ll want to make sure you use perfect form in each of the exercises. Combining resistance and instability is how this workout will test every repetition you earn.
X2 Yoga: this is one of my favorites. I’m amazed every time I do the Yoga workout how much better I feel afterwards. The X2 Yoga is designed to increase your range of motion, increase isometric power, and build stabilizer muscles strength.
Balance + Power: your core will be tested in this DVD for sure. Tony uses explosive movements to force your core to stay strong during intense stress. Not only will your strength improve, but aches and nagging pains will lessen.
Chest + Back + Balance: the chest & back workout from P90X gets a fun new twist added to it by using platforms to the workouts. Trust me, these “hurt so good” as Tony likes to say.
X2 Shoulders + Arms: not only does this workout make you look dead sexy in a tank, but improving shoulder strength will help prevent injury. Pretty cool.
Base + Back: even though this workout owns me, it actually quite fun. Your back and base are basically the two largest muscles groups in your body and it’s definitely a challenge working both of them together in one workout.
P.A.P. Lower: (P.A.P. stands for Post-Activation Potentiation) these workouts are real performance enhancers. You do two sets of a four-round workout that really bring the pain.
P.A.P. Upper: they say these upper body workouts are supposed to make you feel more “springy” and loose, but all I want to do is lie down and never get up when I’m done with these workouts. They’re similar in fashion to the lower P.A.P. workouts, but for your upper body.
X2 Ab Ripper: I thought Ab Ripper X was hard on P90X; this brings a whole new level of pain and awesomeness. It’s one of my favorite workouts, but I usually forget that while I’m doing it. Like I said before, the core is key to improving your entire body and this definitely locks in your core.
Those are the DVD’s for the new P90X2 workouts. I’ve loved them ever since I bought them. I would strongly recommend getting into P90X shape before you tackle P90X2. I did the entire P90X workout and P90X2 still kicked my trash.
I would recommend, and do recommend, the new P90X2 workout to anyone looking to truly improve their mind and body.

I’ve finally received my P90X2 DVD’s and I have loved the program so far; especially since the P90X2 equipment is basically the same as P90X. I’ve been able to use my dumbbells and pull up bar and resistance bands that I used for P90X.
If you’re looking into getting P90X2 I sure hope you’re a “graduate” of P90X. The workouts are so much more intense and technical. I’ve been using Tony Horton’s Power workouts for years and P90X2 is definitely my favorite.
On top of what P90X did for all of us, P90X2 adds an extra element that really fine tunes your body. Like I was saying earlier, I’ve been able to use all my equipment from P90X for P90X2 so if you still have all your workout equipment then you should be set.
If you don’t have it or need new exercise equipment then I’d recommend getting these or similar items that I’ve been using. Depending on your goals, you’ll either want dumbbells or resistance bands. I bought the resistance bands and pull up bar from beach body when I bought P90X and they’re great.
I wanted more muscle from my P90X workouts so I bought some Bowflex adjustable dumbbells and I’ve loved using them. I’m glad I kept my resistance bands because some of the workouts in P90X2 are done better with the resistance bands or you can even add them to some of the workouts to increase the difficulty of the exercise.

You’ll definitely want a way to do pull ups. Like I said, I got my pull up bar from beach body and it’s been great. It fits right over the door jam and locks into place and doesn’t slip or move on my while I do my pull ups. Something that I would recommend is to wrap a towel or some cloth over the rubber grips that press against the door frame so that you don’t cause any damage to the door frame or door jam.
I’m a big guy (220lbs) and I was making small impressions in the wood framing around the door jam and the rubber grips were peeling paint off of the wood as well. Once I wrapped the handles the problems immediately stopped and there wasn’t any further damage to my door jams.
A couple other items you might want to consider for P90X2 is a yoga mat since you do a Yoga workout (X2 Yoga). Something else good to have is a jumping box. This helps with the plyometric exercises which are pretty fun to do. An exercise ball is always a good thing to have around to help with ab workouts and stability workouts and P90X2 will definitely put both of those things to the test.
Along with the equipment, I’d strongly recommend following the nutrition guide and workout schedule that the P90X2 program offers. Tony is super smart and has put together an awesome program that will help improve your entire body and mind. Don’t miss out on getting the best results by not following the nutrition or workout plans.
So if you’re at all considering buying P90X2 I’d say don’t wait. I would also say that you better make sure you’re already in P90X condition because these workouts are hard and really push you. If you’re not ready for P90X2 then it’ll run you off and you won’t enjoy it like it’s meant to be enjoyed. I know exercise and joy don’t always mix, but Tony does a great job of bringing the two together.
Hope that helps you get ready for your new body. Check out beach body’s website or amazon.com to make sure you get all the P90X2 equipment you’ll need for the workouts.

Holy Cow! Have you seen the new preview videos and info for the P90X2 that’s coming out this fall? I can’t even begin to describe how pumped I am for a new, upgraded version of P90X with Mr. Tony Horton himself.
I’ve been doing the original Power 90 and P90X workouts on and off for years and I’ve been wondering for awhile now, “when will Tony make a new version of P90X?” Well, my friends, it’s finally almost here!
I’ve been watching the new preview video over and over and the new P90X2 looks pretty intense. I’ve actually pulled out the P90X DVD’s and have started up the workouts so that I’m ready for P90X2 when it comes out in a few months.
P90X2 promises to deliver a whole new level of muscle confusion. The P90X2 workouts will be more intense and the workouts will only be 5 days a week so that your body has more time to rest and recover.
Tony was saying on the website that the intensity level really requires more rest making the cliché “less is more” literally true for P90X2.
P90X2 uses 3 different phases to help your body grow and develop like never before. It uses Foundation, Strength, and Performance; and in that order. It focuses on the little imbalances and weaknesses we have and builds a strong Foundation to build off of.

Then P90X2 will build up your strength and power once your foundation is solid leading to you attaining your maximum performance. The intensity and new science behind the muscle confusion is great for 5K runners to professional athletes.
Something else I read on the website that got me pretty excited is that P90X2 was developed with the help of one of the world’s most renowned sports trainer and scientist, Dr. Marcus Elliott. At first I didn’t know who he was (I’m not a professional athlete) so I looked him up and he seems pretty legit. And by pretty legit, I mean he seems like the man when it comes to sports science.
Are you excited yet? Maybe I’m the only weirdo out there but I honestly cannot wait for the new P90X2 to come out this fall. I remember way back in high school when I first used P90X to get ready for football season my senior year and how much better I performed on the field.
It’s been a few years since high school but I still am looking forward to taking my body to the next level. I still play several sports throughout the year on a few city league teams and my competitive nature hasn’t left me, so I’m looking forward to the results P90X2 will give me on the field and the court.
If you haven’t looked up the video for P90X2 yet, do it! Check out what the new program is offering and can bring to your workout. If you haven’t ever used P90X or Power 90, then I would recommend looking up those workout programs as well so you can get your body into P90X2 shape.
Well, I hope you decide to get P90X2 like me. I love the community that beachbody.com offers with all of its products; not to mention the quality of products the site offers as well. I think that’s all I have to say, so check out P90X2 and get pumped!
